Welcome!
The Healthier Communities Coalition of Larimer County (HCC) is a coalition of nonprofit, government, business and citizen leaders focused on improving the health and well-being of our children and youth. HCC does this by serving as a relationship broker, networker, communicator, convener, facilitator, researcher and capacity builder for the family and youth service providers throughout Larimer County.

In collaboration with the Larimer County Department of Human Services, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County, SAFE Kids Coalition of Larimer County, United Way 2-1-1 of Larimer County, Foster & Adoptive Families of Larimer County and BASE Camp, HCC will host the 3rd Annual Family Summit – Day for Kids on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at The Ranch. The Summit gives families fun, quality time together, while they learn about all the rich resources available to them in our community. We also hope they take away new knowledge about how to make choices that promote health and well-being. We expect at least 1,000 people to attend the Summit, including many foster and adoptive families, and families involved in the human services system. The Summit also will serve as the venue for the Mayor’s of Loveland and Fort Collins to present their Teen Recognition Awards to 10 teenagers from Loveland and Fort Collins who have overcome significant challenges to achieve success and serve as positive role models for others.
